Muskoka Brewery Gives Back with the Venture Fund

PrintDedicated to causes close to our hearts.

BRACEBRIDGE, ONTARIO, May 22, 2018 – The Muskoka Brewery Community Venture Fund is a series of grants bestowed upon worthy non-profit causes close to our hearts: projects to clean our lakes and rivers, create trails to share the natural beauty of Muskoka, increase sustainability and improve lives for those in our communities. It’s about committing our time, our attention and our efforts on this beautiful region we call home.

To kick off this community project, join us at Venture Fest on Saturday, June 16 (12pm-6pm). Muskoka Brewery hosts its first annual beer and spirits festival on Saturday, June 16 to kick off the fund. Tickets are ten dollars and include five drink tickets and a five-dollar donation to the Venture Fund. Expect an afternoon of live music, beers and spirits, Sully’s Food Truck, Beat the Wheat (try the Muskoka Spirits gin-infused key lime tarts), local vendors, and fun for the mini-Muskokans in your life.

Venture Fund will continue to be supported by brewery initiatives, elbow grease, and we couldn’t resist throwing in a series of specialty brews. The Muskoka Brewery Community Venture Collection will release limited edition, specialty 750mL bottle brews, available exclusively at Venture Fest with additional bottles at the brewery and online Hop Shop. For every bottle sold, one dollar will go directly back to the Venture Fund. First in this series is a Barrel Aged American Blonde Ale. First brewed in 2017 as Moonlight Kettle GenuWine Blonde, this bright beer is aged in Chardonnay Barrels to inflect a subtle tang. Uncork the inaugural brew at Venture Fest!
